Peyman Shafieezadeh, Homayoun Askari Sirizi, Niko Wahl
October 13 – November 19, 2016
A group exhibition from Iran and Austria – an intercultural exchange project.
In 2015 hinterland brought an exhibition from artists living in Vienna to Tehran. Niko Wahl and Peyman Shafieezadeh met in Tehran during that time and started to work on a collective exhibition – both working with similar material and style but different use and meanings.
They started to work on one common subject – refugees and migration, seen from two different angels and perspectives. To widen the perspective even more, the artists invited Homayoun Askari Sirizi to join the team with his thoughts and ideas.
